Back when all this shit started I searched how viruses spread on google. I read about how viruses are created in the body and are almost impossible to spread from person to person. Now its all about "YOU GONNA DIE" covid bullshit. Its all been changed to fit the narrative.
To give some nuance to this. It appears that they are trying to market the vaccine. In virology, immunity is acheived by being exposd to an antigen which creates antibodies against that antigen. This should occu when soeone is infected with the virus or if they have a vaccine administered with part of the viral rna. In this case it is an mrna vaccine that is being rolled out.
Herd immunity is a concept that is related to a threshold effect and statistics. If a certain proportion of the population has been infected and recovered OR is immunized then the rate of spread will be lowered to a point where the virus has basically no power to propagate and will die out quickly.
What they've done is taken out the part about immunity after being infected.
This is interesting because it may imply that infection does not confer immunity. In which case we also don't know if long-term immunity is conferred by the vaccine because it hasn't been tested. For all we know in a year they'll put out another vaccine. Or this will be the new yearly flu vaccine. Except against coronavirus instead of influenza.
I can’t believe I have a public health degree and they post shit like this. But then again, our curriculum at the time discussed institutional racism so I can’t say we wouldn’t see this coming. Fuck college, fuck all of this malarkey. It seems we are now the purveyors of truth.
