I mean I've heard he was another genuine freedom-loving president. I heard he is like Trump in many ways though I don't think he accomplished quite as much as Trump did.
It would have been cool if I were an adult at that time and experienced his presidency, but I wasn't even born until the end of the 90s so RIP. An absolute damn shame I literally just hit adult age and we're this fucking close to losing our country, hopefully not though..
I was. In fact, I voted for Reagan in the very first election I was eligible to vote in. I did it while stationed in Germany.
If you were an adult then, you would know how badly our freedoms have been eroded by the left. It's f-ing depressing :(
I served in the military while he was prez (some of my "work" ended up on his desk, actually). He was FAR more clever with words than Trump, but Trump really knows how to cut through the red tape. Reagan was much more "political," but both are no-nonsense presidents.
Reagan was going to be Trump. Poppa bush was sure to reign him in
He was never the same after they shot him. That was three months in. The deep state went after Pope John Paul after that and shot him too. Reagan was a leader, a ceremonial one. He had style, but he wasn't the fighter and counter puncher Trump is.
Also was around for it, agree Trump is much better.
