The X in Xmas is Greek for Christ.

"First of all, the abbreviation predates (by centuries) its use in gaudy advertisements. It was first used in the mid-1500s. X represents the Greek letter chi, the initial letter in the word Χριστός (Chrīstos). And what does Χριστός mean? “(Jesus) Christ.” X has been an acceptable representation of the word Christ for hundreds of years."

Using it brings us closer to some of the earliest Christians.

It also allows us to trigger the Helen Lovejoys/Karens of the world.

Why? It's derived from Greek. X = Christ

does anyone actually say 'xmas' i think its just easier to write so they write it, but most don't actual say it, sounds dumb, but i've always been told the x is for christ also.
