First of all- my family is staunch Republican and I am not. We all both like Trump.

I don’t want to get into details but every time they made a point about being staunch Republican and liking Trump I could give a point about how Trump counters it. They are against bailouts and stimulus for low income communities- Trump did that in the right way- funding jobs, schools and businesses.

Had to explain how the peace deals aren’t anti military. They had no idea that China was committing genocide on Muslims and when I showed them this they assumed the Muslims must be terrorists. I explained the Uiger Muslims were peaceful.

They are against challenging the corporate big pharma. Trump did this and reduced drug prices.

I actually made them think a bit more about Trumpism vs Republicanism and in doing that it made me think about how noble Trump really is.

The current GOP is nothing like the GOP of the 19th century either. It’s just that the “long march [of Marxism] through our institutions” has inverted/perverted the purpose of our federal government.
