I have been writing Senator Cruz begging him to step up and do this. Cornyn is a lost cause, just a spineless prick. Please, if you are a Texan, contact Senator Cruz and ask him to do this.

Probably by phone. You can try email but it asks for your address and if you are not from Texas, it may not go through, not sure. The phone number is listed on the Congress's website however.
