This picture says so much. Washington's wallet was the one that says "Bad Motherfucker". They crossed a frozen river for hours in the dead of night. Hurricane/blizzard conditions. Many of his men were barefoot. Miraculously they lost no guns, horses or men in the crossing. They were three hours behind as they wanted to attack before sunrise. Of the three divisions that were to surround the hossacks only Washington's made it the 14 miles over snow. It was providence. Odds were against them. But Washington knew this was his last chance because the terms were up for most troops in early January. They would be returning home. Very underrated battle.

While O'Donnell was narrating this it was giving me the courage I need to walk my fat a** 10 or more miles into Washington on the 6th because I know there will be no where close to park.
