Wait hold up. Our nuclear launch codes are hacked? Why don't, you know, we change then?

NCA communications were hacked. The codes themselves are safe. They are produced on a single air gapped machine, printed and sealed inside the same room. Codes are passed from the room in tamper boxes through a hole, logged and immediately passed to be directly delivered to the various sites. All codes are authenticated and manually entered. It is one of the few things that isn't on a network infrastructure.
