The Nashville explosion doesn't look like it wrecked an entire block, not from photos I have seen, one building had its lower floor trashed, lots of glass, several cars burned, but that is it.
Reports I've seen were police were notified of a suspicious vehicle and the area was evacuated. Unless that was debunked, it definitely seems like VBIED
Wouldn't a natural gas explosion have an ongoing fire? Didn't see one. Or are you thinking a propane tank? Would have made a huge noise if inside a large van.
Thinking of car bombs in the ME, there seems to be less damage than you would expect. And the hollowed out buildings look like they were vacant any way. Could be wrong
