I don’t understand why a bomber would pick a non populated area, and a building with no significance, as far as sending a message goes.

I could see some disgruntled person who doesn’t wanna hurt people, but wants to send a message to something like a gov building, but this? It’s just odd... Plus the news report said a bomb squad was sent to the area? How did they know a bomb was there in the first place? This is just bizarre

The building has huge significance. It is an internet exchange facility. It is an attack on infrastructure. There are major outages reported right now.

Internet is highly redundant. This was someone passed at AT&T.

Physical internet infrastructure does have weak points. While facebook may live on for normal users, services hosted through this facility that may be critical to the local area are drastically affected.

It's just an excuse for feds to shut down transportation in DC on the 6th.

What makes you think there was a bomber?

Well by bomber, I mean the individuals or individual tasked with detonating an explosive device
