Had a relative who went to the hospital/ER recently and the hospital will only accept patients within their premises, visitors were pretty much kicked out regardless of they were spouse, parent, or guardian. Needless to say, my relatives said the hospital was pretty empty.

A friend who's is in med school said the hospital there will take in covid patients just to immediately send them home with prescriptions.

From what I can gather according to this twitter account, the hospitals shown in the videos are either actually empty or taking measures to hide the patients. I think that's very intriguing.

The NYT just posted a story "Gurneys in the gift shop: Inside Southern California's Overwhelmed Hospitals" I would love to know the truth about that situation.
