That street would be a hotspot for a terrorist attack, probably second busiest area next to broadway in that area, but hit it when it was least populated and now hearing it was playing a warning message.

There was another post here linking to Twitter and in comments the warning was played by the cops that were already near the scene, and that raises other questions

Yeah, but how did they “find” a car bomb? People don’t leave wires hanging out like in the movies. They DIDNT just stumble upon the car bomb after responding to shots fired. That is not even close to believable. I’ve search tons of cars for bombs in the Middle East. Even they know to hide the wires. This whole thing stinks like no other.

I don’t know enough to guess who or why yet, but yes I agree that data center was the target.

This is 333 Commercial Street, the blast was on 2ed ave a block over next to a Hooters. Check this map for locations. https://www.mapquest.com/us/tennessee/att-building-265835532

Nope, no one puts their loading doc a block away. AT&T is one block away at 333 Commercial street and is a heavily fortified bldg. the blast is on 2ed ave. https://www.mapquest.com/us/tennessee/att-building-265835532

This. Data centers are t office buildings. They are buildings turned into hard drives. I’ve worked on several of googles data centers

To me it looks like a retail shop and a closed retail shop. Look at the sign on the right. AT&T houses its switches in major buildings not store front accessed areas, they are heavily secured and fortified. I am familiar with the one in NY.

Its to SLOW DATA. https://istheservicedown.com/problems/att/map Look at what else is affected.

Data is not destroyed. Data Recovery is entirely likely. TIME is the issue.

This cannot be replicated - Everyone is looking for trucks near data centers now.

This was highly engineered.

Side Effects? more disruption. justification for searching, limiting cheap road trip options. Fear.

ELI5 of Hypothesis of Special Forces vs ABC's?

What would be the goals of each side and what may have happened so far?

So did police respond? BC I am reading that the "timer" was yelling for over 15 minutes before the bomb went off...

Those silly special forces 'were only meant to blow the blahdy doors off!'

But, instead, they damaged 20 buildings!

What a loada crap.

that's because the smoke triggered night mode.

I would ask that because I heard that the ATT property that they bombed was the server farm for internet and cell phone communications.

And EMF weapon would make sense to use, and confirmation might be from the neighbors and their electronic devices.
