I don't think it's a total nothingburger that this building sustained damage and caused some telecom disruption in the Nashville area, but this is not some major disaster. Limited and localized impact on telecom services, nobody confirmed killed (though there's just been a report of human remains found in the vicinity, which could be a perp, or even unrelated), only 3 people requiring hospital treatment so far. If this AT&T building was the specific target, the whole operation was very poorly planned and executed, and there's certainly no indication at this point that it was the work of any sophisticated group that we need to be worried about.
As someone who was in NYC on 9/11 (and had taken a pass on a job offer on a direct hit floor of the WTC about a year and a half earlier), maybe I'm jaded about these things. But I can't get very worked up about this.
