My leftist sister went to the store and my boomer mom ran in and said “let’s watch some Of the Salty Cracker streams before she comes back”. I’m so proud.
When I visit my parents we pull up the Salty Cracker Reeeeee Streams that are still available. Usually there’s some beer or wine and we kick it listening to it and getting caught up on current events. As soon as my sister left that’s what she wanted to watch. And she was disappointed when we had to turn it back off.
She’s pretty far gone. I even learned some things recently that opened my eyes even more. One of her college friends comes from a wealthy Chinese family which explains why she gets pissy anytime someone bitches about the CCP. I consider her a lost cause. On Thanksgiving she lectures my mom about her white privilege and it led to an argument. I also got my mom Space Force Chepo Team and a copy of Uncle Tom the documentary. My mom was not up to date with any of this stuff a year ago and now she listens to Styxhexenhammer, watches Salty Cracker and Bannons Pandemic War Room and cruises TD.win. For a lady in her mid 60’s she’s now way more on top of things than most people. She even recently told one of our conservative family friends to “stop dooming”.
