$70 Chinesium Drill Press doesn’t have enough rigidity to do milling. Only the drilling. So I have heard.

axshally, I have heard that patience and a case or two of beer gets it done. Not the prettiest but werks. Mills should be a God-given right.

I would want at least a floor Drill Press with a 3/4” capacity Chuck, or a provision for collets... the bench top drill press —- yeah, it is possible, but don’t have anything else planned that weekend. Smoke some briskets while you are at it...
