Every time you use Firefox (or Safari) you are showing that people are moving away from Google.
- Brave and Vivaldi look exactly like Chrome in the webmasters stats
Webmasters can collect "server side" stats which cant be blocked or prevented by Brave or uBlock.
Big companies and web masters look at what browsers their users have.
So in the eyes of a webmaster or big company - if you use Brave or Vivaldi you are basically casting a vote for Google Chrome because it presents itself as such.
So it's better to use Firefox or Safari if you are on mac than some Chrome based browser.
edit : I know FF is a cuck company that does cuck things. But they are one of Chromes main competitors

Firefox + uBlock Origin
this is the way
What about Tor?
Screw Firefox
Waterfox FTW
> Uses the same source code > Supports all the mozilla plugins > Cross platform
firefox likes to put gay pride on my homepage.. I prefer opera since its open source and can run in the background while gaming (other browsers make it freeze when alt tabbing)
opera has big investors from china
the opera founder and team went to Vivaldi
Can’t get later versions of FF to see localhost right. Got annoying.
just using localhost doesnt work for me
just using file:// doesnt either
but this does
file:///
or
file://localhost
for example
file:///home/try4gain/page.html
this also works
file://localhost/home/try4gain/page.html
One day it was just page not found for anything on localhost like Syncthing. Plus some other random stuff. Everything else could see localhost fine. Chrome, ping, wget, CURL. Not a problem. FF = I’m just not gonna do that anymore randomly. So it’s like well Chrome then I guess.
Oh I would but you know I’m just going back to the exact same porn sites tomorrow. It’s been formatted since anyway.
gotcha. sounds weird.
Dumped FF for Brave after all the BLM crap they pushed following George Floyd's OD. Not looking back.
Firefox is broken and bloated as all f***. I use Brave or Safari.
Safari is still better than anything based on Chrome.
Firefox is absolutely legit and should always remain prominent for its open web standards support but what do you mean by "casting a vote" for the other browsers?
I could see why this is important if some site is only making their content work with one browser type but things are way better than they used to be - when a large amount of the web was made to work with only the garbage proprietary msft internet exploder + activex! Chrome is based on open source project chromium - and Brave was created by the guy that invented javascript(Brendan Eich) and javascript, like it or not, makes a lot of the web work as we know it to work. Also Brendan Eich was at one time elected to be the CEO of mozilla (makers of firefox) - but then they cancelled him as an "ist-a-phobe" because he had financially supported prop8 (the ban on gay marriage) in CA.
I use Brave constantly (even on mobile), but I also use Firefox and Chrome as well.
I like to have lots of choices in Browsers - Open Source preferrably - but I also like to always have alternatives!
Also the browser must be HTML5 Open Web Standards compatible - no BS flash/silverlight/quicktime/etc. proprietary malware-vectoring plugins! Modern HTML% browsers can play video/audio/3d games right in the browser!
big companies and webmasters track browser usage and design their sites with this in mind
i actually think chromium is ok and does good on cpu usage - but still try to support firefox just so companies know not everyone is on the Google Train
