Thats basically an ABCTs worth of equipment, combat vehicles, HQ's and Logistics vehicles. But that could be a unit being shut down or a unit going to a training rotation at NTC. Could be anything...

From Pensacola. It’s hard to tell if this is normal or not since I haven’t lived there for 10 years. There’s multiple military bases around the area including one of the largest naval air bases in the country but they wouldn’t have need for ground vehicles like this.

I’ve never seen something like this in the 18 years I lived there and both of my parents worked on base. Usually we just have cargo trains through Pensacola.

The military moves stuff around by train all the time. That's desert color, probably returning equipment from the ME. It would be insanely expensive to return tanks like that back from the ME by plane.

The military moves equipment around every day - for training, for maintenance, for groups returning from overseas, they're constantly shipping stuff around. We have incredible logistics because of our heavy lift capabilities of the big planes, but at some point, it's just more efficient to use trains. That's the one piece of the logistic pie the military doesn't have - trains. They own boats, planes, trucks, but they have to share the rails with commercial traffic, in the big hubs.

If we were preparing for war, we'd know. You have to start that months out, to get not only the troops and their gear ready, but you have to start stockpiling food, supplies, clothing, etc. Both Gulf Wars, there was a massive undertaking going on, shipping things to the ports. If we were gearing for a ground war, there would be no doubt.
