I don't think he was looking for a fight. He was armed for defense and he reacted to what he perceived as a threat, and defended himself well under the circumstances. Other armed citizens might have done similar, if caught in his scenario.

I'm NOT knocking him at all, just saying he wasn't engaged in 1776 operations, or even looking for a fight that night. Earlier that day, or the day before, he was painting over antifa/blm graffiti with other citizens. A good kid.

After going through hours of footage frame-by-frame I disagree Kyle 'dared to do what is needed'. He was a medically trained youth who cared for the community out in peaceful capacity offering medic service to protesters and anyone caught in their wake that night. In that capacity criminals in the protest group conspired to agitate and assault Kyle and after gunshots behind him while being chased by a masked assailant opened fire to defend himself. Immediately called emergency services and rest of the footage shows him making his way out of the area to safety and attempting to turn himself in to the police immediately after a self-defense scenario.

'Do what is needed' implies intent. I see none of that there. Kid kept his cool under pressure and defended himself admirably. He didn't seek out and initiate a single engagement.

The most ironic thing is, I have no idea who Kyle even supports politically. I know he was attacked by a violent street mob and he fought back and prevailed in immaculate style. That's why I admire him and my kids feel that he is a hero for standing up to these terrorist thugs.

From what I know and saw during that night, Kyle did not go to the protests looking for a fight or looking for commies to kill. He shot those three criminal commies purely out of self-defense, not out of any offensive action. The fact that he did not take any free shots at any more commies at various opportunities supports this.

Believe me, if there is a armed and bloodthirsty man who would like to kill commies present at that night, the body count would be much higher than three and he would not have been caught, ever. Especially if he takes precautions to be unidentifiable...

This man is a hero, and showed more courage and bravery than just about any of the rest of us. Realistically, what he did should be considered the first shots in this cultural war we're in. Most conservatives, and most Trump supporters, are entirely unrealistic about what's wrong with America. We are completely infiltrated by illegal immigrants, legal immigrants, and our own communists. America does not come out of this without the steadiness and firmness of hand that Kyle showed.
