Shit... I’ve been Pro-Trump since he announced he was running, and I was referred here by another Pro-Trump buddy. Not sure how long he was here before he told me, but I don’t think it was very long.

My quest for the truth has kept me here. I’m amazed almost daily about the metric shit ton of information that flows through this site.... and then is reported on a few days later. It’s a trip to hear about “Breaking News” that I read on here 36 hours before.

I was leery of Trump when he announced he was running, laughed even, but when he got the nomination, I began to listen to his platform and liked what he was saying. I'm a cynic so I didn't expect promises to be kept but at the very least, Trump was far and away a better choice than Hillary. Trump surpassed my expectations and delivered. Not in everything but on enough to make a big positive difference.

Trump delivers, he just doesn't hand you the moon. He delivers by taking one step at a time, one stone on top of the other.

Doing it that way prevents the big resistance you get on the large, obvious moves. What people don't realize is the thousands of small moves ARE the big moves.

A house is not built with a single nail, a ship with a single rivet, nor a wall with a single stone.

Good governance is generally both boring and quiet.

Leftist parties always over-promise on massive plans, often done without cost-benefit analysis, and often already done better by the private sector. The result is usually that the private infrastructure is decimated, the public option is totally dysfunctional, behind schedule, over budget and nobody accepts responsibility.

Always be suspicious of a party that wants to Do Something™.

I didn't see anything amazing about Trump when he was campaigning in 2016, but when I heard the constant mainstream attacks on him, the lies about him being racist, sexist, homophobic, etc, I found myself constantly defending what he actually said.

Eventually I started seeing Trump as being a handicapped politician, where career politicians are savages, sharks, and he was outmatched simply because he's a regular dude. I started cheering him on like a one-legged Tee-ball player. As he's hopping around the bases, I see people trying to trip him, spit on him, laughing and mocking him, and it made me cheer him on. HOP MFKR HOP!

Then I realized that he is really up there battling for us, and his massive deregulation changed lives, and the future of our country. His battling it out with China is producing much-needed long-term results. I realized he's up there for us. He absolutely exposed the corruption in our system, and he is desperately needed for America's continued freedom and prosperity.

I never voted before in my life, but I voted for Trump in 2020, and I will vote for him again in 2024, even after he's served 2 terms.

I’m right there with you. Never voted until 2020 but started to follow trump right as the 2016 election happened for the same reason, the absolute hatred he got before he was even given a chance. Now I’m full fledged on our POTUS side.

If you're a reasonable person you will find yourself defending Trump all the time because most attacks on him are unreasonable.

I was the same way. I voted Cruz in the 2016 primary but once Trump was the candidate I really listened to what he was saying. The funny thing is he was saying this back in the 80s and 90s but no one was listening.

Did not take him serious until he told hlary she would be in jail if he was president. That was from his true desire he spoke. Off the script, so I though what the fuck let's give him a shot. He has not disappointed and contines the fight until WE THE PEOPLE win.

We all wondered it was his job to prove it.

In it's hayday it was glorious. In the end it was a dog that needed to be put down. We are free here, you don't have to worry about posting words and getting banned as long as you are honest and not a psychotic idiot. Once you're here you can never go back. The truth shall set you free. Problem is there is no where to get the truth like you can here.

2015-2018 reddit sub was the goat. That election run was the most fun political moment that I will ever be a part of I'm sure. I found that sub from the autists on the misc forum on bb.com

That’s what it sounded like.... it was good, until it wasn’t. Regarding the information here.... if you are a critical thinker, it’s awesome. Watching all the different scenarios play out in real time, playing it through, discussion within different areas of expertise...it’s just awesome. I’m bummed that it took me so long to get here.... but it definitely feels like home.

I’m sober, and it reminds me of walking into the rooms of AA the first time. Definitely some crazies, but mostly a bunch of great people that will do anything to help each other.

Had to be very careful about what you said on reddit. Would probably get banned even for suggesting going to DC armed on the 6th.
