Yeah, that sub was amazing. On the night of the 2016 election, it was like a huge online party. It’s sad reddit torpedoed that sub but I’m glad it produced .win. Now we have free speech and no underlying worry that we’ll be banned at any time (as most of reddit was begging to have t_d banned, we knew it was just a matter of time).
That’s what it sounded like.... it was good, until it wasn’t.
Regarding the information here.... if you are a critical thinker, it’s awesome. Watching all the different scenarios play out in real time, playing it through, discussion within different areas of expertise...it’s just awesome. I’m bummed that it took me so long to get here.... but it definitely feels like home.
I’m sober, and it reminds me of walking into the rooms of AA the first time. Definitely some crazies, but mostly a bunch of great people that will do anything to help each other.
