Wheat bread>white bread
My favorite bread is Honey Wheat. Usually toasted, with maple baked turkey on it, swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, mayo, salt, and pepper.
But I'm sure there's a specific sandwich that works best with white bread- oh, the Humble Hamburger was originally served as a sandwich on White Bread!
But make REAL White Bread. None of this pre-sliced bullshit. Generally, mass produced bread is crap.
I fuck with honey wheat. Turkey and cheese with all the fixin's is my go-to lunch munch but with American chee. I'm a simple man
American Cheese is great with a more savory turkey. The Swiss pairs well with the sweeter maple turkey. Occasionally, Cheddar is great with the savory turkey, but in that case I go with adding both Bacon and Onion to the sandwich, and replacing the honey wheat with a meatier whole grain bread, with, like, those oats on the crust, to handle the added gravity of the sandwich.
Man, now I'm super hungry, but am still stuffed from dinner.
