Powell at the very least was a respected lawyer with an incredibly high success rate. Lin Wood got CNN to settle a lawsuit with a teenager. I don’t particularly trust them at this point but I see no reason why these people would completely burn their careers and reputation over this. Money? Doubt it. I don't know why, but Lin Wood might well be in the process of burning his reputation and career. Yesterday, he tweeted that overnight, Trump was going to start his offensive. It might take a couple of days to be sure, but by Monday, we'll know if that was true or not. And if it isn't, then Lin Wood has gone full clown: completely with makeup, rubber nose, colored wig, and clown shoes.
