The governor of Oregon, Kate Brown, was ready to keep public schools closed through next year. A bunch of patriots decided to attend the public meeting on the subject at the state capitol. Suddenly, COVID was too dangerous for the public hearing. People tried to push in through the cops, and nothing much came of that.
But a couple days later, she suddenly punted the decision down to districts and schools. I'm guessing she realized at some point that there were enough people to overwhelm the police and get to her. Somewhere, Thomas Jefferson is smiling at that.
