Actually if this is the situation then it was destroyed because someone doesn't want their info going through that particular hub because their criminal behavior and conspiracy would be visible to the NSA and subsequently Trump. But if they remove that hub from the equation then a different hub will have to be used, or morw preferable to GA officials the data will now just go directly to GA without anyone having the access to see what is being sent.
Its a bit extreme considering officials in GA could just not break the law instead.
If you could just blow up something to easily remove specific information from the NSA database it would have happened by now - cartels and international terrorists with big budgets would have had plenty of interest.
