I don't really watch. My wife had us watching a show for a few seasons and my good friends had gotten deep into it. There are compelling stories being told. Is the animation top tier? No, but the plot will likely be as good or better than live action sitcoms/dramas/etc. I was forced to watch a series called Berserk. It was really weird towards the end but I'd be lying if I said it wasn't fun to watch.
