Make sure you buy those hand warmers. Buy extra. Put 1 under your toes in your boots and 1 in the back by your heel if your boots or shoes allow. Having cold feet sucks even if the reet of your body is warm.

Learn the signs of suspicious behavior. Stay vigilant. Anything is a possibility for these fuckers.

Maybe try to take a peek inside that old car/van parked next to the main crowd. Are there backpacks laying around with no clear owner? Did you witness someone put something weird in the trash (like a pressure cooker). Is there a person visibly nervous for no apparent reason?
