What's the truth about the COVID vaccine? Is it good or evil?

Trump is touting it as a success, and I trust Trump, so that makes me think it's good. Then the tyrants are saying that even if you get the vaccine (or legitimately had COVID and recovered) you're not exempt from their edicts, so that makes me think it's not worth getting. Then I hear a bunch of stuff about a nurse fainting on TV, Bell Palsy, and sterilization, and that makes me think it's unsafe. I'm also hearing that you get a certificate if you get the vaccine, and there's talk in France about only allowing the vaccinated on public transportation, so that makes me think it's an evil way to infringe on people's liberty.
