The GOP has been playing fuck fuck games for a long, long time. Like, since RR, and in some cases before. We need an America First Party, and if it takes the downfall of the GOP to make that party a reality, so be it.
I am not Republican, Democrat, Conservative, or Liberal. I’m a Constitutionalist and my first love is to that very special document which I gave an oath and promise to uphold—with my life. My second love is to the American people; thirdly, the United States (as in the geopolitical entity).
Fuck the two-party system which forces us to choose between shit and shittier. GEOTUS is the first vote I’ve made where I actually felt like I was picking a candidate who aligned (almost, looking at you 2A) with my beliefs. He has fumbled on 2A issues, but I tend to believe this is out of ignorance rather than malice. The President is fantastic at making decisions when he doesn’t have assholes with an agenda lying to him about what the American people want, when in reality they are deceiving him out of interest for whatever company they’re secretly lobbying for.
The hardest part of government is finding quality people, especially in DC. You run out of patriots and people you can trust really fast when you need to fill high-level positions.

What if Barr and Sessions were part of the sting? If you want to dig down into the deep operators of the swamp and their comm channels Trump had to let them work without fear. If Sessions and Barr were too aggressive they would have closed shop.
Also, head of the DOJ had to get through the Senate, so choices were limited.

Trump picked Sessions too. Sessions was good about immigration but little else, I was with Sessions until the end, not gonna make the same mistake. Wray, Haspel etc all put in by Trump. He was given bad advice and should have just run with his instincts. He has the best instincts but his traitor radar might not be as strong. Still the best president in my lifetime though no other president had to go through what he did
