The only reason we care about these third party actors so much is because we are desperate for ANY lead to go on-- even if it's shit. We are completely in the dark and have been since the election or longer (why has Trump been backing masks and vaccines all year when we know it's bullshit? Talk about juxtaposition between Trump and his supporters... ) and it's driving us mad. We don't like not knowing when usually he's a straight shot.
But you make a good point. Trump left us in the dark about the MOAB until after it dropped so there would be no leak.
Trump is fighting a domestic enemy which directly involves us. So to keep the enemy out, we would need to be in the dark too.
But I think it's best to just find a way to be comfortable with not knowing. If something happens, fantastic. If not, we have ourselves on the 6th and our guns leading up to the 20th. Regardless trying to wring clean water out of dirty washrags of "sources" like tweets without sources and following third parties like the messiah isn't helping us.
