I was just thinking about this, though in the context of the famous Trump curse. This is the seeming curse that falls upon anyone who opposes God's anointed avenger Donald J Trump.
In particular the golden state warriors refused to visit the white house after the last time they won the NBA. Furthermore their coach is an insane mentally ill lefty.
What happened next? All their star players get injured. Keven Durant leaves the team. They sink to the bottom of the league, and this year, even after all their top draft picks and free agency signings, they are still the worst team in the league.
Miwaukee scored 140 points against them. They don't play D., no one except Steph can shoot, and they are poorly coached. Looking forward to Kerr getting fired.
I love Steph. He makes the game of basketball fun. I'm just sad to see what's happened to them, and no doubt they have no idea about the Trump connection.
I stopped watching when BLM went on the court, pandering phrases went on the jerseys, and all this in the context of a story that broke (on ESPN btw) saying that the top brass in the NBA told coaches to not talk about all the human rights abuses they saw in China over the past few years of doing off-season camps there as part of NBA outreach and growth efforts.

The only thing that could get me watching NBA players at this point would be seeing some get arrested for being in too deep with the CCP.
