Trust me, most women don't get it. 90% of women aren't interested in politics or real world events beyond the usual daily fluff. It's not that she doesn't want to listen to you, she's just wired to get agitated by things that rock her worldview.
You can tell her all you want but she'll still switch off at some point. It's like Eve in the Garden, the details don't matter as much to women. They are more invested in the world.
The great thing about women is they will listen and give you time even when they don't really care. So keep it short and sweet and focus on the big stuff and don't begrudge her too much.
Exactly right, this is sound advice at least in my experience. Sometimes I do fly off the handle and go into gross detail or long rants about things. IME With women not just s/o’s , there’s certainly a point of diminishing returns that comes earlier compared to talking to your buddies over a beer.
Yeah and if it happens too often it can mess with your relationship. Remember we can't be everything to each other, even though we try. Secret coups, wiretapping, fisa unmaskings, ukrainian money laundering and deep state propaganda etc are all kinda dark subjects.
In actual fact one of the things that makes me angriest about this coup is the arguments it has caused amongst friends and families. It's so unfair that these lies have been foisted upon the world.
Well I wish you the best and am happy you two still love each other. I like seeing right and left people become partners and spouses. It is the small glimmer of hope I have for the future. Otherwise it is one massive circlejerk group of couples who can't argue a single issue with each other, politically.
