There was a thread a few days back where an Aussie was insulting the USA while lamenting the USA should help them.
Strictly speaking Australia has been US only ally who has continually backed them for 80 odd years barring only a few slips.
I'd hazard a guess to say Australia is the only country in the world that hasn't abused the US good will, so owe us? Only respect and the post I was responding to is anything but.
