Wouldn't it be nice if it were this simple? Unfortunately, if I joined a different party, I couldn't vote in a R primary. Lots of states like mine.
If everyone joined a third party, the conservative vote gets split and no conservatives are elected. Remember Ross Perot?
The Tea Party did affect change in many ways, but RINOs got wise quick and joined the movement just long enough to get elected... then joined the establishment.
I still believe we have to take over the R party to be effective. A solid vetting system that gets involved at the recruiting level. Firm commitments from candidates that prove their loyalty to the people's freedom. This would mean infiltrating the R party at the local level and driving out the hypocrites. This is a long term strategy for survival, because the war will never end; it's a war of human natures.
So there's the problem.. it's hard. At every level it's hard and it never gets easy, moreover, the opposition has superior numbers (of people in position), more resources ($$), and the high ground of political power. We have enough of the public to win, but we need to reach them. We need a foothold in the public discourse, they know this and it's why censorship is at an all time high. The fight has to be in the public eye, else there can be no lasting victory.
The primary opposition right now, IMHO, is media/big tech. These are the big guns that keep us from advancing. Like the guns above the beaches of Normandy, they have to be neutralized.
