I'm not convinced we'll need the Insurrection Act. Steve Bannon and Peter Navarro have both said that it's unnecessary whilst other options are available.
If things don't change, then at least President Trump still has that arrow to use.
Agree... we won...the dueling electors are key...read up on Contingent Elections. Net/net, 1 House Rep and 1 Senator challenge the Electoral College... after debate, each house will vote....the Left will win the House, the Right 'should' win the Senate which will create a tie and force a Contingent Election - each State gets one vote, we have the majority. The risk is we lose the Senate or some of the RINOs don't vote for Trump; we need to keep the pressure up to force them to do the right thing... President Trump is setting the conditions for that. If this doesn't work the way it 'should', then we go Insurrection Act...
That's not the current process specified by federal law. If there's a tie, the electors certified by the governor are accepted. There is no contingent election.
I should have been more clear, I summarized for the sake of brevity. The path to a contingent election is that neither candidate reaches 270 Electoral Votes due to the 6 contested States and the fact that dueling electors have been submitted. Each State that is contested is debated in both chambers of congress; the House will likely vote D, and the Senate 'should' hopefully vote R. If this happens, neither candidate will reach 270, resulting in a Contingent Election, where each state gets a single vote and we have a majority. This is what we are hoping for on the 6th.
