That’s a BD 1cc tuberculin syringe. It’s used to administer subcutaneous injections and comes with a short, 3/4” 25g needle standard. One has to remove the short needle and attach an inch and a half 20g needle for deep intramuscular injection to administer the vaccine.

This could be fake, but I think it’s legit - needles are color coded (e.g.: a 20g has a blue hub, an 18g is pink) and I don’t see any color on the business end of that syringe. Could be a photochop, but you decide.

I know dick about needles, but I've never been touched by s doctor who wasn't wearing gloves, let alone given an injection by one without gloves.

So based on that I find this photo very suspicious.
