Was just going through Amazon, almost every electronic product is made in China.

Are there any alternatives?

There are many in Taiwan and Japan. Unfortunately, several components from them are often outsourced to China.

Midland radios. I was just thinking about this a few days ago. Have you noticed that TVs made in the USA during the 70s and 80s still work, when you find one.

American made electrical components used to be the best. I did work on substation equipment, testing and replacement. There is stuff from the 1940s and it is still working and outlasting modern equipment.

It's ridiculous, that we pay more for stuff that is made to break sooner

If you are looking for high-end audio components, the U.S. makes some of the best in the world.

Low-end stuff is manufactured in China or other countries because of the high wages here - this is one of the issues Trump has been trying to fix, all by himself it seems.

If you look on Amazon what do you expect?

Google/Search for 'made in the usa' and see what electronics you are looking for. I dont know.

Gonna say a hard no here.

All commercially avalible electrical component is manufactured in China. You can have electronics assembled else where but the bits and pieces are manufactured in China.

Commercially available is key word there. You can attempt to buy government/military grade electronics with all components made is USA.
