Understanding "Guanxi" 🖕FUCK CHINA🖕

Hey Pedes,

I 100% support the "Fuck China" sentiment here. I'm a reformed globalist with China experience. You see, back in the Bush days we used to celebrate "The World is Flat", until of course our wages dropped and our jobs disappeared.. But much was learned from this brief hustle. To keep you guys free of foreign influence you must know your enemy, and the key to the Chinese mental operating system is understanding the concept of "Guanxi"

Guanxi (pronounced gwon-she) is a Chinese term meaning "networks" or "connections" that open doors for new business and facilitate deals. A person who has a lot of guanxi will be in a better position to generate business than someone who lacks it. To build guanxi, they usually offer you something first (not ask something from you). It puts the gift receiver in a form of "debt", where they can be manipulated to reciprocate the kindness back... After all, it's rude to refuse a gift...

Here's an example from my personal life: So, this old Chinese Lady retires from her gubmint job in DC and moves in across the street from us. The first thing she does is introduce herself to us with gifts for my two kids. To the unassuming Westerner, they think "awe... what a sweet, hard working immigrant, this is heart warming".. but you see the experienced China-hand knows, this is a Guanxi move, and the bitch has ulterior motives. She cornering me into some future agreement, and has wisely chosen to gift my kids for ultimate guilt if I refuse.

Sure enough when the moving truck arrives the next week, she's asking me for "help" to move all her fucking furniture for her (instead of paying the movers)... Oh but it doesn't end there.. nah every week, she needs "help" with her yard work, asks me to fix things, wants me to build her an outdoor patio, ect, ect... No shame, no boundaries..

You see the Western Operating System gives without expecting anything in return, but the Chinese one does not. This is a difference that they understand and exploit, and most westerners ignorantly get trapped in, and end up influenced.

Keep you guard up Pedes and demand our government does the same.

And if a Chinese National gives you a gift, refuse it, or immediately gift them back (that's the polite snub): "Ha! Thanks, take this jar of nuts" 👍 (and get the fuck off my lawn!!!)

The jujitsu move is to immediately gift them back something to cancel out the "debt" they put you in with the gift they gave you.
