There is lawsuit pending now to prevent Pence from recognizing the electors for Biden due to the fact that those votes were certified despite those states votes being contested due to fraud and unconstitutional changes to election rules and processes committed in those states.
If the Trump team can show incontrovertible evidence to the Congress and to the public, the governor certified votes for Biden will be discarded and either the votes for Trump will be counted or the entire election will be nullified and the House of Reps will have to vote -- one vote per state. Jan 6th is a show of force to remind COngress that they govern ONLY WITH THE CONSENT OF THE GOVERNED. Namely, We the People.
