I have a package that I ordered over a month ago that hasn’t been scanned since December 12th. It’s literally 10 miles from my home. I opened a case and asked if it was lost or if I could physically pick it up since it included Christmas gifts. I was told I could not get it and that it was delayed due to COVID. I still don’t know if it’s been lost. It was $200 worth of gifts for my children that I ordered on NOVEMBER 23rd. Still no scans on it. Gifts for my husband? Same problem. Hits a dead space of scanning and $150 in Christmas gifts ordered December 1st never made it for Christmas Day.
What worked for me on one shipment with an extremely vocal, angry customer was reporting it as Lost Mail. Opening an investigative case doesn't seem to do anything except a call from the final post office saying they don't have it there.
After two weeks, I reported it lost and to ship back to me if found. What do you know? It magically appeared at the sorting facility that night and was delivered the next morning (to the customer). Not saying it's guaranteed to work, so YMMV.
That’s my problem. I’m too nice to customer service.
Are they worried the package is going to get Covid? 🤣
USPS needs to be dismantled and the service needs to be privatized
I've been waiting on a hat to be delivered that was "out for delivery" 2 weeks ago. But I get my bills on time
YEP. never had bills or junk mail delayed, ever. or the mail in ballots we did not request, this election cycle in AZ.
I sold a PS5 to a lady in Alabama two weeks ago. She still hasn't got it. We're in the midst of watching USPS collapse.
(Gave buyers the UPS option... morons)
sent a package in state on the 15th - didnt get a movement notification until 2 days ago from the regional sorting facility. Was sitting at our post office for 8 days before it traveled 8 miles to the regional facility, has been in transit to "destination" for 3 days now which is only 8 hour away.
I have sold online as my main occupation since 2004. Tens if not Hundreds of thousands of packages. I can corroborate this. I currently have two in "limbo" with another from a family member "lost". Worst Christmas I have seen in the 17 years I have been doing this.
I will also add that this is a common tactic that the USPS uses EVERY time they are clamoring for more money. Seen it many times, although the amount of delay this time is beyond reprehensible.
Papa Trump needs to shut down the entire thing. Let USPS die in 2020.
I am still waiting 23 days for coffee that was 2 day shipping ...
If you ever have a problem with your local USPS, start sending complaints to Amazon about not getting packages on time. It's well known USPS fucks with their reporting and if they don't keep up with contractual metrics with Amazon they lose a ton of money. They'll listen to Bezos
I have a package sitting in transit for almost 3 weeks. I'm in PA
I had a package containing a nice piece of artwork that was supposed to go literally 30 miles. I could have and (should have) driven it there myself. It was supposed to be there next day priority mail....
... took over 2 weeks for it to get there. Unbelievable. Took something like 17 days while it was shuffled around local facilities until it finally arrived!!!
Yes!! I had a package that was late, said it left Illinois, and arrived in Nashville. The next thing I know it was sent back to Illinois, and today it left again. 🙄
Ordered a package before thanksgiving and it sat in Indiana until about the 16th then moved to another facility on the 19th, hasn't moved since.
UPS? Ordered shit 4 days before Christmas and it arrived in 2 with standard rate.
UPS is expensive for mail under 10 lb but they guarantee delivery by cleaning out the hubs every night. Part time supervisors get fired if they miss a package in their sort area.
Yea, shut up bigot/s
Been waiting over a month for Christmas presents to arrive. I think they are doing it on purpose to damage small businesses.
Tracks with me. My wife ordered me a Christmas present that was shipped on the 16th but been "in transit" ever since, with zero updates.
I have 100+ packages out that haven’t been scanned in a month. Had to refund customers and Usps can’t recall lost shipments so guess I’m fucked. Guess I’ll find out if USPS insurance is worth the price
