As seen by them putting the Insurrection Act part in the Defense bill, the Democrats think Trump will use military force to stop them. Remember part of the point of the riots was likely to taunt Trump into using the military, which he never did. They wanted Trump to have blood on his hands after a riot with casualties to hurt him in the election.
Trump used their mistake against them, by letting the Democrats look like fools burning down the country, and this contributed to losing the public. Now I'm not sure how, but he will use their mistake against them again.

i think the executive order from 2018 is like an insurrection act lite. Doesn't it make these actions treason and send it to military courts?

Yeah i don't think we are at a juncture where deception is going to be a key factor anymore. at least not in the sense of throwing the democrats off their game. While the steal was sloppy the cover- up has not been so much. They successfully had all their pieces in place.Very shortly its going to come down to who really has the power.
Since election night Trumps enemies have coordinated all around him to show they have the real power in the united states. They are choking his presidency to death.

There are possibly a few more legal hail mary's before that happens. I do agree though that Trump allowed the dems to lose the public but at this point it doesn't matter unless push comes to shove. The establishment is fine with the country being against them as long as they rule by cheating.
