The funniest and worst part of this is the guys beating him are mall cops not even LEO. So punching them is no worse then a bar fight. We are too programed to be sheep and stand there while the wolves feed on our family.
The security guard started the fight. He told the guy to leave and the guy refused, not sure if that gives the security guard the authority to detain the person until police arrive or does he just call the cops and wait. That probably also depends on the state and what level of security that guys is. But you can clearly see the security guys swung first.
