Seriously, this is a made up holiday celebrated less than another made up holiday Festivus. The dude that made it up in the 1960s was a racist black American that raped and sexually assaulted women with curling irons.
Even Wikipedia doesn’t do much to cover it up. It credits Kwanzaa’s creation in 1966 to Maulana Karenga. On his page, it actually brings up the criminal charges of torture and wrongful imprisonment of multiple women.
