When I was in school we still had typewriter class so I have an excuse for being a little technologically handicapped. And that was in like 98 and 99 middleschool.
At least, I presume, that that class allowed you to type decently. I'm shocked that they still taught typewriter classes back in 98 and 99, but I have vague memories of typewriters being sold at the store in the 90s.

Yeah, it helped a little bht a typewriter has such a different feel to a computer.
It was outdated. They should have had us in programming classes like c++.
