If you're planning violence, don't bring your dog. It will be put down. Police and military are trained to target dogs first. If you even think you might have a violent clash, do not bring along any dog you don't want to see die in front of you.
If you bring your dog to violent police action, your dog will die. It doesn't matter if he's well trained or not, he will be shot and killed. If he somehow survives but mauls people in the process, he will be put down afterward. Do NOT bring dogs you don't want to watch die. 'rah rah eat commies' won't change that.
Basically, yes. Police have only been trained to shoot to kill dogs on sight somewhat recently. (This is a huge concern with SWATting and other home invasions with police, as it's just fact that even docile dogs will be shot if they're in the room). That said, many dogs did die in war. I just don't want someone to take their dog to somewhere they expect police violence, want the dog to be violent, and then be taken by surprise when their loyal dog is killed in front of them. I'd rather it not come down to violence at any rate - because every time we have to do something violent to impact our government instead of using the laws, it damages out country long term - but I especially don't want to see a bunch of naive dog owners bring in their family pet and get them killed on accident.

I wish I could find some people that are going from Richmond, VA. I've tried on countless websites to find people, and can't find fellow patriots like myself that are willing to exercise their constitutional rights. There won't be violence, because the people angrily commenting about executing traitors and waging civil war are angry 300lb people who have never held a gun in their lives and punch like they eat exclusively lettuce. I'm not ruling out a civil war or armed uprising if Biden somehow manages to steal his way into office, but it won't be the LARPers here doing it, it will be the people who've quietly endured not just this year but many years, with a failed election being the last straw that finally makes them snap. Those people aren't likely to even turn up on the 6th.
I expect Trump to win, whether it will be on the 6th or another day, I don't know. But I have my doubts if the 6th doesn't go the way people want that it'll actually get violent. Maybe if it did we wouldn't be in this position, because people wouldn't say "Oh if we overturn the vote we'll get violence" and imply that conservatives won't get violent...but as I said. If the election is stolen despite everything being done to stop it, and if that results in a civil war, I think it will spark later, not in the 6th meet up.
