He redefined it so much, you cannot even call it socialism really, because it wasn't. Everybody gets confused over this.

He basically picked certain industries and put the nation's resources behind it guaranteeing it is successful at the expense of competition. Almost what we have now...

Yeah, but there was no gun grabbing or private property violations except against known communists. Businesses were allowed to stay as private businesses. They were just not allowed to hurt people. In other words Flint Michigan was not allowed. Neither would Nestle water bottling plants that destroy the local ecosystem.

Flint could happen all over the country due to us having lead pipes all over the place. One person forgets to put the stabilizer components in the water and another Flint. It's a huge problem but would require massive investment to fix it.

Nestle shouldn't be allowed anyways but our politicians allow it. Out founding fathers wouldn't allow it but over time we now have corrupt politicians.
