People in power who wanted to take more power incited and protected those riots so they could claim to appease them. The actual violence was never what brought the change. Burning a couple buildings and a some random deaths didn't change the minds of the communists who were already in power and waiting to act.
Burning some buildings and some random violence would do absolutely nothing for us without someone of equal power ready to use it to their advantage. Which they would do, to target us as terrorists.
The only solution is to remove those people from power, even if that means through violence.
