Idk why you’re getting downvoted for that. You’re correct. Armed in groups is the way. If you’re going alone, conceal it until you find a group to join. Of course there’ll be a big police presence, and you’re no good to anyone in a prison cell.
The problem is how you're defining "weapon". People best have a way to protect themselves should things go sideways, but your "weapon" needn't be overt in nature. In fact, you might be surprised at what can become a weapon when necessary.
