Just dont wear a mask. Decline one if offered by the store. They really cant do shit. Most of the time they'll not even say anything. The majority of people will want to avoid a confrontation. It's a fucking mask after all. I've been in and out of stores literally hundreds of times since the Spring and have had only one incident where the a store manager really pushed it.

First he came over to me and asked to wear one. I said "No thanks." He said he would call the police if I didn't. Our local police aren't enforcing this and would be out of the store by the time they showed up anyways. I just got what I came for and then went to check out. He tells the cashier to not ring me up. I then go to one of the self check out machines. The fucker does something electronically from a kiosk and a "Please wait for an attendant" message pops up on my screen and I couldn't do anything. He stands there with this self satisfied look on his face. I pulled out my wallet and thankfully had enough cash on me. I put the money on the machine, take my shit and walk out. He starts walking out with me trying to accuse me of shoplifting. I told him that I paid and if he wasn't going to accept US legal tender then he should close the store. Fuck that dude. Of course it was a large national chain. No small business would treat a customer line that or allow any of their employees to.
