It’s the worst. Add in noise sensitivity problems and you have a recipe for disaster. At least in years past I could read lips to sort of guess what’s going on, but that’s not an option anymore since my county decided to go full retard.
I can’t even imagine what actually deaf/hard of hearing people have had to put up with...
Auditory Processing Disorder. Ability to understand goes down markedly when in groups, in overstimulating places(includes every store), when unable to read lips and non-eye facial expressions, and when the speaker is muffled talking through a mask.
The best is if you proceed to pop on a military mask with a built-in passive voice emitter and your criticisms can continue to be heard with perfect clarity and only a slight amount of reverb. 👌🏻
