It's just perception, you pass inches away from 100,000 pound oncoming trucks with nothing protecting you from them except a yellow line painted on the road. If you can do that then you can do a huge blue sky with not much in it.
I know...it's the whole lack of control thing that gets me. I can handle driving but being a passenger in a plane requires a good level of trust
