I don't fully understand this issue, but it does stand to reason that since the insurrection act falls under the presidents right in the constitution, that this would supercede any restriction the legislature would try and impose on this right.
It's like the state legislators appointing their own electors. Yes, they delegated this power to various other members of the government, but they were able to seize it back at their pleasure, because it was constitutionally enumerated.
Carry this logic out, and any supermajority could take any action against the executive branch. Including dissolving the office of the president. Both houses of congress pass a bill stripping the executive of all power, president vetoes, and they override.
Obviously this is unconstitutional in a broad example, and it is also unconstitutional in the narrow example as well.
Or he is surrounded by people who have no fucking idea what they are doing and giving him advice that is beneficial to THEM and not America.
The only plan is for millions to show up on 6 Jan. That is it and that is the hard stop.
Jenna, Meadows and others are telling him to not use the Insurrection act because there is no support from inside the swamp. They are looking out for only themselves and looking for a soft landing because they can work with Biden and China. They are the recipients of all the CCP has to offer.
